The importation of Tom to Australia, was made possible by Viv and Andy Anderton (Karava Kennels). To whom we will remain forever grateful. Thomas marked the major turning point in our breeding program, he arrived for us at a good time.
Not a happy Showman he finished his title in honest fashion, and then as if to prove us wrong collected a Best in Working group. He saved his best in the siring stakes.
His breeding record is as follows.
1st Litter to Ch Carluke Centrefold produced NZ Ch Carluke All or Nothing (Tricolour dog) and Carluke Hanky Panky (grand mother of Ch Thomas children)
2nd Litter to Carluke Call Me Cute produced Ch Carluke Fancy Pants Best in Show at both the '95 National Collie show and CCV Inc. championship show and Aust and NZ Ch Carluke Tommy Tucker, both Shaded Sables.
Two Litters to Cherrylea Saphire Blue produced Ch's Carluke Here I Am and Carluke Miss Megabucks, both Blue Merles.
A litter to Baqilodge Be Blessed saw Ch Carluke April Bonnett in the ring and Carluke Easter Parade sire champion stock. April is a Sable bitch the other a Tri dog.
A smooth litter saw Champion Carluke Diamonds N Pearls complete in Tasmania (the states first Smooth Champion)
Another smooth litter saw a Tri dog and bitch complete Ch's Carluke Black Pearl and Prince.
To his grand-daughter we finished Ch Carluke Ain't Misbehavn, Ch Carluke Champagne Blush.Peter has now winged it to Malaysia where we believe him to be performing he has a Champion son here in Austrlia a Smooth dog CH Jencol Playing WIth Fire. Penny has to date 3 Champion Children.
One litter to his Great grand daughter Twilight Rose at Colydor (imp NZ) has produced the newly titled (27/01/01) Ch Carluke Simply Sinful
For other people he has also produced well
For Tonacco Kennels he is the sire of the Champion producing Tonacco Hanky Panky
Dalwood Kennels have produced Ch Dalwood Whuzze Blue, owned by Terry and Aileen Jenkins, he also has a brother who is siring winning puppies also a half sister Ch Dalwood Dusky Fashion has finished.
Jim and Lynette Carver have finished Ch Caldbeck Misty Blue and she has other littermates pointed as well as producing pointed offspring.
Kaye Reeves of Izkaze Kennels has a Tri dog titled Ch Izkaze Tomfoolery, and he has a sister and a brother Izkaze Tomorrow and Izkaze Tomboy also finished. Liesel or CH I.Tomorrow is the dam of Champion children herself.
One of his very last litters was to CH Cathkin Disgustnly Gorjus producing a single Blue bitch CH Kollylock So Extra Gorjus who is now the mother of some very exciting Children.
Colleen Bowdens Tri girl Maggie (CH Colbeau Gogetem Legal) also gained her 100 points.
Most importantly though Thomas is a lovely dog to know, and we will remember always the day he was released from Spotswood quarantine kennel to share our life.
