November 14 More shows on the weekend. Nelson - Katrina Stanilands boy picked up a BOB to bring him ever so close to his title. Freya won more points at Morwell/Traralgon, but the shining lights were A'sta winning Puppy in group at her last puppy show, then backing it up with Junior in group at her first junior show. Rainer also had a run around to win his first reserve challenge at the first show he has been to since being of age, although the best was that he remained sound- so hopefully he is over or at least on the positive side of recovering. ciao Kate
November 07 Tis the last month of Spring, just some trivia for you and Christmas is 6/7 weeks away! Of to a dog showing weekend the first in a while to come back with a lovely handful of points for Freya , Faberge and Kylie. A'sta also joined the party and picked up to reserves to Kylie. News from last weekend is that Freya & Bryce's Sable daughter in Queensland has now completed her title to so thank you to the owners of these lovely Smoothies.
October 18 The only results from the weekend that I am aware off are that Nelson - Carluke Willofthewisp collected Best of Breed at the 'Royal Geelong show' on Friday just gone, bringing Nelson and Katrina closer to there title. Also at the same show Nessa a 'Pena' daughter was Best of Breed and a 'Pena' grandson Dog challenge (sorry I have forgotten his name). Up in Queensland Eva has made her return to the showring after dropping her puppy coat to collect 3 CC's with Rubob to her Uncle Taj, Eva is also closing in on her title. Well done to one and all.
October 12 Following on from her successful Melbourne Royal CH Foxbell Finnished Neatly wins Ru Bes in Show at the NSW Collie Champ show under Mr R Bell (VIC), Nish is a daughter of Pena. Pip CH Foxbell Fashion Plate also went RU Best of Breed to her half sister and onto Intermediate in Show this enabled Pena to win the TOP SMOOTH COLLIE sire award at the October Champ show, clever boy he is. Rainer and Rheubans grand dad also got in on the act winning 2nd to the eventual Best in Show winner, well done Taghd. ciao Kate
October 02 Well what a Royal show it was in the Smoothie ring :- Dog Challenge, Bitch Challenge & Best of Breed, Reserve Bitch Challenge and RUP Best of Breed ALL children of our jointly Imported boy CH Bell Pepper's Gate Keeper (Pena) thank you to Anne and Kati for our Tricolour goofball. Not content with that CH Foxbell Finnished Neatly went on to Best in Group 4th truly an epic performance. Reserve dog challenge (Smooth) and Puppy of Breed was the lovely young son of CH Carluke By Design - Foxbell Fine Romance (Ren) well done to his mum Shelley at there first ever Royal.
In the Rough ring it was a lonely Kylie who performed as reliably as ever to pull off a 2nd from 8 Open bitches. ( I am sorry for causing any hurt to Luna and Nelsons loving owners by leaving off the end of this paragraph, I do appreciate everyones efforts in showing Carluke Collies).
September 19 Well wasn't it lovely to see the sun on the weekend. We took of for a dog show at Bulla the first one I think I have been to at that venue and the weather was decent! Even better were the results with Kylie going Best in Group (Group 1), Faberge a reserve challenge, Rainer Baby of Breed and Freya BOB. Pena's youngest son Quincy joined in the fringy collection taking out Junior in Show congratulations Janice. Up at Horsham Freya's son Leroy went Runner up to Best in Group (Group 2nd) for his owner Jeanette so cheers all round the state. Melbourne Royal is coming up and we can't wait. Ciao Kate
September 06 Ahhhh computers they are great when they work! then when they don't I lose touch with you all. Anyway back up and running now YAY. Some exciting news to report :- A new Champion
Congratulations to Jeanette and Leroy completing there title at 16 months of age.
Another Baby puppy in group for young Rainer, also Rheuban has added to his tally but alas no photo's of that, Rheubans brother Nelson also joined in for a class win on this day.
Faberge has his first Australian challenge points and a few more forays are anticipated into the showring. Freya wins her 4 Royal show Best of Breed award at Adelaide Royal, whilst up North her half brother Taj adds his 3rd Best of Breed at a Royal show for the year at the Queensland Royal or EKKA. August 03 Hello all again, sorry we have been a bit busy, we spent a couple of weeks overseas for the world dog show and Windsor which was fantastic. We have attended a couple of shows with some splendid results. Firstly Jenny took some of the Roughs to the Collie Club of Victoria Champ show and came home with a Baby puppy in Show for Rainer at his first show. Best in Show was Janices CH Foxbell Finnished Neatly another Pena daughter giving him 2 Speciality Best in Show winners, 2 Runner up Best in Speciality show winners, such a lovely result for this Smoothie boy.
Freya and Kylie have picked up some more Challenge points at various shows and both Baby boys have had Baby puppy in group awards Faberge has been to his first shows to learn how the Aussies do it and won his first CC points. . we are looking forward now to Spring which is just around the corner Ciao Kate
June 17 A fun weekend in Canberra, even if COLD! Kylie 1 Best in Group (Group 1) A'sta 1 Minor puppy in group and Freya 1 Best of Breed. New photo of both A'sta and Kylie added to there pages.
Renny has now gone to his new home. Rheuban and Rainer will grow up here for a while.
June 05 Just a quick show yesterday Freya BOB the only Smooth Collie and A'sta MPOB. Riley went to his new home yesterday as well.
June 1 A fantastic weekend just gone, I ventured up to Sydney for there Championship show and Freya came home with *`* BEST IN SHOW*`* over an entry of 80 dogs under Mrs D Parkes. Thank you to all the well wishes on the day and after the event. Kylie won her class and A'sta was 2nd.
Sam and Janice also travelled up and we had a great time as you would expect. Go team :>))
Freya's daugther Emma also tasted success at the Open show taking out Junior in Show. Well done Murray.
May 25 Our first Championship show in over 2 months and Freya takes Best of Breed, LOL she was the only Smooth Collie shown on the day! A'sta has stepped up to Minor puppy and was Minor of Breed and Chanel was 2nd in her class.
May 13 Sad news yesterday 12/05 Tinsel was given wings to join the great dog kennel in the sky, have fun up there Tarty, cause you are missed down here.
April 27 Congratulations to Murray, Yvette and there Smoothie girl Emma on finishing her title, the love and perserverance they have put into this troublesome girl is outstanding. Emma is Freya first Champion child with 2 more on the way, Leroy the boy had a lovely time in Mount Gambier over Easter, we wish Jeanette all the best in finishing the lad off. Sydney royal was and Pena's daughter Pip collected Reserve Challenge - congratulations to Janice and Pip.
April 13 Well done to the Collie Club of Victoria for a relaxed Open Show on April 9 - Very successful for dogs either directly from us or by our boys.

Our girls did well, I have never taken just Blue merles to a show before, but I did this time and it was great :>)) Baby puppy bitch 1st place and Baby of Breed Carluke Strike A Pose. 2nd place Intermediate bitch Carluke Drop Dead Gorgeous (half sister to the Rough dog winner) and 2nd place Champion class CH Carluke Moonlight N Roses (litter sister to Rough dog winner).
Faberge is settling nicely into quarantine, but boy are the days dragging till his release. Ciao for now.
April 03 Congratulations to Jenny and Taj in Queensland on winning there 2 Royal show Best of Breed this time at Toowoomba, his sister Conchita was Bitch Challenge and there Niece Eva Puppy of breed. Here in Victoria Nessa (a sister to Taj and Conchita) was Best of Breed at Bunyip these three are children of CH Bell Pepper's Gate Keeper. Eva today in Queensland added another Puppy in group to her string of accomplishments.
Our last baby Tinka has today left for his new home, we wish all new baby owners the best of luck and happy times.
March 31 Well Nova's babies have arrived and we have 3 Blue Merle boys and 1 Tricolour boy mum and bubs doing well.

March 22 We didn't go anywhere this last weekend just gone, in fact we have not entered any shows for the short term. Instead we took some pictures I hope you enjoy.

March 15 A lovely weekend just gone the weather was typically autumn and the showing was alot of fun. The girlies came home with the following Kylie :- 1 Best of breed & 1 Runner up to best of Breed. Chanel :- 1 Challenge and 2 reserve challenges. A'sta :- 4 Baby puppy of breeds.

Not only our Collies had fun, but Pena's Smooth girls shared in Best of Breeds and challenges congratulations to Nessa, Nish and Pip, Quincy managed a couple of reserve CC's and in Queensland Eva collected another Best of breed award. We have a break for a while see you soon. Ciao Kate
March 04 What a lot of fun we had at the Canberra Royal - we celebrated another Royal Show Best of breed award for a Pena child, as well as CHAMPION NUMBER 11 congratulations to Karen Hoggard and Nessa :- CH Jencol Swing ona Star. Well done also to Pena grandchildren (Fraya's babies) in Victoria (actually the shows were in South Australia) Leroy owned by Jeanette Campbell won 3 best of breeds and a Junior in group, in New South Wales Emma not only won her class of 3 at the Royal but the following day added another best of breed to her growing tally. Our babies are growing fast and will start to leave for there new homes shortly.

February 23 Well done to two of Freya's girls this weekend just gone winning Bitch Challenges and Best of Breeds in New South Wales and Queensland.
February 13- Congratulations Murray and Yvette Rolfe and Emma of course on there Puppy in Group win yesterday.
This is Bravo, he and his sisters turn 3 months old today. No shows for us this weekend, we are out for the Canberra Royal though. Ciao Kate
February 07 -Exciting news, Nalani completed her title on the weekend just past, gaining her final points exactly 12 months after gaining her first points, we have been waiting since August for her last three points! So YAY for Lani. We have to thank her Grandma Gael for her help in showing Lani, having 2 youngsters just a week apart in age was a handful at times. Also Janice who stepped in an added some points as well. No team would be complete without a photographer and we thank Sam Buckley for her lovely work behind the lens. Nalani is Nova's third Champion Blue Merle bitch and 4th child to title.
At the same shows Freya collected 2 best of breeds and Chanel came for a ride to win her class at the only show I took her in. We hope to make it to more shows with Chanel this year while Nalani waits at home for a more finished coat.
January 29 -Congratulations to Katrina and Nelson on there Dog Challenge at the Park, Nelson is a Nova/Jordan child and currently in his summer swimwear. Nova has been mated for her last litter, fingers are crossed for Blue merle and Tricolour babies from her in late March
